In myth, Aphrodite, goddess of love and beauty, rose from the sea foam and was carried to shore on a scallop shell. Ever since, the scallop has stood as a symbol of love arriving: beauty, devotion, and the open heart. Our Rose Quartz Scallop Shell brings that symbol into your home, carved from a crystal that carries the very same message.
Rose Quartz is known as the stone of unconditional love. Its soft, blush-pink energy invites you to open your heart, deepen self-love, and welcome love in all its forms, from romance to friendship to the way you speak to yourself. Paired with Aphrodite’s shell, it becomes a daily reminder of the love you’re calling in.
We spent more than a year searching for these. High-quality Rose Quartz is notoriously difficult to carve in a shape this detailed, and most of what we found didn’t meet our standard. Each shell is hand-carved from translucent, true-pink Rose Quartz, with a ribbed fan exterior, scalloped edges, and two gently opening halves. Natural inclusions and variations in color make every piece one of a kind.
At about 2 inches wide, it’s small enough to keep anywhere you want love to live. Set it on your nightstand or love altar as an anchor for your intention. Use it as a sacred dish for your rings, earrings, or a favorite tumbled stone, so every time you set something down, you set an intention too. Care
- Clear it with smoke, with sound, or simply by holding it and restating what it is for. All three are safe for every mineral.
- Quartz is generally fine with water, though a dry cloth is never the wrong answer.
- Keep it out of prolonged direct sun, which fades rose quartz. A windowsill is the most common way a stone quietly bleaches over a few months.
