About this piece
Ancestralite is an ancient form of Hematite and a pseudomorph of Martite — the oldest manifestation stone on the planet. Like all Hematite, Ancestralite is an incredibly grounding root chakra gem that anchors you in the stability of Earth’s core. Its deep metallic grays are punctuated by bands of red jasper, adding an extra layer of balance and support.
This rare Hematite was formed from stromatolites deep within the Earth’s crust. These layered sedimentary structures are the remains of our planet’s earliest life-forms — tiny microorganisms that oxygenated the atmosphere for hundreds of millions of years before any other life existed. As such, Ancestralite is a potent source of Earth wisdom and also an endless well of life force energy. This gem holds the very breath of life that gave birth to the world as we know it.
With lifetimes of knowledge stored within, Ancestralite is a potent stone for healing ancestral and karmic cycles. It helps tap into past-life memories and encourages you to release generational trauma. Meditating with Ancestralite allows you to integrate wisdom accumulated over many lifetimes so you can understand your purpose and align with your highest self.
