4 Ways to Clear Your Oracle Cards
#1 Clear the Energy With Sage
Envelop your oracle cards in the sacred smoke of sage, just like you do with your crystals, to remove any negative or remaining energy. Light your sage stick, and allow the flame to burn for 30 seconds or so. Then, gently blow the flame out so that smoke begins to flow. Allow the smoke to get in between your cards, lifting them and separating them. When you are finished, snuff your sage stick out in a fireproof container.
#2 Bring in the Selenite
Give your deck a little extra energy clearing with Selenite to purify the cards and bring positive energy in. We like to store our oracle cards on a Selenite Charging Plate so that they are constantly clear, cleansed and ready to use.
#3 Supercharge Your Oracle Cards with Clear Quartz
As an energy amplifier, charging your deck with Clear Quartz heightens the accuracy of your readings. Before placing the stone on your deck, program your Clear Quartz with your intention and then leave it on top of the deck. If you do not have Clear Quartz, you can alternatively use Moonstone for this step!
#4 Tap Three Times to Reset!
Before you start a reading, tap the top of the oracle deck, with the cards facedown, three times to clear the energy and reset your cards for the next pull. This is a quick and easy method to use especially when you find yourself continuing to draw the same cards over and over.
When you’re working with your crystal oracle cards, it’s equally important to pay attention to your own energy and the energy of your deck. That’s why I also recommend giving your own energy field a cleansing session before you start a reading. Just leave a little extra time after you clear your deck and before you start your reading to clear your energy with sage, selenite, and any other cleansing tools you enjoy using! That way, you can clear your energy and your deck at the same time!
