"These burn for over 2 days! I’ve had one lit that has been burning non stop for over 48 hours and it still has more to go. The scent is barely detectable unless you’re right up on the candle. I forgot to trim the wick to about a 1/2 inch which helps to prevent some of the soot mentioned in other reviews. I bought 7, thinking if I was going to burn a candle for a seven day ritual, I’d need 7. I should have only bought 3 or 4."
"This candle burned very black... soot around inside and black smoke... it didn't seem to blacken the walls, but I had it near a window and noticed a film there where the smoke came up from the flame so you might want to be careful where you place it. I didn't notice any smell until it got right to the end. Maybe it's just this particular candle...I hope so as I purchased several and wanted to give some as gifts so I'm hoping next one I burn isn't so soot-y. Of course, I won't mind the soot if it brings the intentions to fruition😊"
