If you’ve been feeling a little less upbeat lately, this is the perfect time to celebrate our light and prioritize our own happiness with an easy and quick summer solstice practice by Heather.
Every morning during the summer, hold your crystal and ask yourself, “What is one thing I'm going to accomplish today?” Aim for easy, trackable goals like cleaning the kitchen, doing laundry, washing your car, etc.
Follow this up with a Happiness Check-in: ask yourself, “How happy am I feeling today?” Rank it on a scale of 1-10, with 10 being absolutely perfectly happy (don’t worry: almost no one is at a 10!)
Close your eyes and hold your crystal to your heart. Visualize it beaming warm and dazzling light into you and showing you how to increase, even if by only 1 level, on the 1-10 happiness scale.
Open your eyes. Ask yourself, “What is one thing I will do to prioritize myself today?” Aim for things you’ve always wanted to or that make you happy but you just never get to, like a 10-minute meditation, a quick walk without your phone etc.
